The long-awaited reboot of “The Toxic Avenger” is finally set to hit theaters later this year, marking a significant moment for fans of the cult classic. It was reported that the film was considered “unreleasable” due to its graphic content, with no distributors willing to take it on. However, in January 2025, Cineverse announced plans for an unrated wide theatrical release, finally bringing the film to a broader audience.
